Whiskey Camp

Whiskey Camp, South Umpqua River, Douglas County, Oregon, May 31, 2010 (B. Zybach).

Whiskey Camp Area of Special Interest is located within the Jackson Creek subbasin and includes Green Prairie and Coffin Butte. of the South Umpqua River drainage in Tsp. 30 S., Rng. 1 E. It contains the old Picket Butte fire lookout tower, which is included in the ORWW Osbornes Project.

Whiskey Camp was selected as an "Area of Special Interest" for the Upper South Umpqua Headwaters Precontact Reference Study for several reasons: words go in here. Whiskey Camp was one of ten Areas of Special Interest in which Mike Dubrasich examined stand development histories and performed related analytical studies for the Upper South Umpqua Project.
