Mount Bailey Lookout was established in 1917 at Tsp. 28 S., Rng. 5 E., Sec. 10, elevation 8,363 feet. The Lookout was "destroyed" in 1952. Mount Bailey Lookout was triangulated by Mt. Thielsen Lookout, 7.8 miles to the East; The Watchman Lookout, 15 miles Southeast; and by Cinnamon Butte Lookout, 8.2 miles North. Kemnow Online History.
