East Boundary Panorama

Dan Bregar and Bob Zybach orient CVHS science class along eastern boundary of oak savannah restoration project (May 31, 2005, N. Lapham).

This 360-degree panorama was established by Nana Lapham on March 31, 2005 during a field trip of Crescent Valley science students. Teacher Dan Bregar is heading up the hill as Bob Zybach lines students out along the eastern boundary. Although student "function" was to serve as scales for this panorama, they were given a brief lecture regarding weed management, with the examples of Brachypodium, blackberry, and Douglas-fir within literal reach of student hands along the project boundary line. Exercise also gave students a good north-south/east-west orientation and an idea as to project distance (1/8 mile) and area (18 acres).
